Still
not sure if you are ready to change Electric Providers?
Here are a few Customer
Testimonial Summaries taken from www.powertochoose.org
Julie Barnett
Galena Park, Texas
Julie Barnett was ready for
a lower electric bill, so she decided to look for a
new electric provider.
Her switching process was
"delightful, absolutely no hassles, [the customer
service] representatives were willing to listen and
inform you without being rushed."
"Texas-friendly"
is how she described the representatives who helped
her.
Her advice: "Try it:
no one should have to pay more just because it is called
a change."
"The choice is the customer’s.
Research a little or a lot, but take control of your
money!"
MaryHelen
Edgecomb
Fort Worth, Texas
MaryHelen Edgecomb wanted
to be more environmentally-friendly. She asked the electric
providers where their electricity came from and what
their sources were.
MaryHelen "was delighted"
to have the opportunity to choose an environmentally
friendly energy source.
"It went smoothly; I
experienced no double bills or other ‘unanticipated’
expenses," said MaryHelen when describing her experience
with switching.
Her message to Texans is:
"Electric choice is more important than price alone."

process."
Lana
Robinson
Duncanville, Texas
Lana Robinson wanted to try
an electric provider that used cleaner fuel sources
such as wind or solar power.
After she switched, she didn’t
notice any increase in her bill. "The monthly amounts
are comparable to the previous amounts," she said.
"Electric choice is
needed to prevent abuse of consumers," said Lana.
Jerry
Von Tunglan
Corpus Christi, Texas
Jerry Von Tunglen estimates
that his church will save $13,000 a year by switching
to an electric provider that offers him a fixed rate
per kilowatt hour rather than being charged based on
a demand factor. "Our demand factor was high due
to cooling the church on Sunday mornings for services,"
Jerry said. The switch made for a more economical monthly
bill in his situation.
His advice for others: "They
should check with three or more providers to determine
service and rates."
Diane
L. Gilliland
Spring, Texas
Diane Gillard switched to
a new electric provider because she was concerned with
protecting the environment. Saving money, she added,
"was not as important as the environment."
"Very smooth, very accommodating,"
is how she described her switch. "All paperwork
was completed in a timely manner," she added.
She advises other electric
shoppers to look at availability, convenience, service,
and the product.

to choose the company we prefer. Electric Choice gives
you that right!"
